We left our campground in Branson, MO and headed south into Arkansas. About half way to Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas, we came across a place called Clinton, Arkansas. Being an election year an all, we took a quick tour of this tiny town, the county seat for Van Buren County.
Then on into Little Rock, to see the state capital. The Arkansas Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial is located on the grounds of the capital.
Then it was east to Memphis, TN. We heard you have to go to Beale Street if you visit this famous old city. So we did for a late afternoon meal. What a great atmosphere with lots to see, do, eat, and drink all crammed into a few block section of the city.
Night 51 was spent in a campground just west of Memphis, back in Marion, AR.
This was the night that the Chicago Cubs won the NLCS and are headed to the World Series!
