| Our final day. Day 18 started out from Medford, Long Island.
Our first stop was the Mastic Fire Department and their Fireboat. Mastic is a volunteer department on the south shore of Long Island. They have a nice Firefighter Memorial, and thankfully were able to guide us to the next few fireboats. We found the Mastic FIREBOAT at the Forge River Boat Club on
Rivera Drive, and then moved on to another. |

| Mastic Beach keeps their Safeboat FIREBOAT at the Lagoon on
Riviera Drive. |

| The next stop was the Eastport FIREBOAT, another Safeboat,
docked in the Hampton Watercraft & Marine off South Bay Ave.

| We did not have a reservation, but arrived at the Orient Point
Ferry with enough time to purchase a ticket for the 11:00 Ferry to
New London. We got one of the few available spots and enjoyed a nice
easy 1:20 minute trip across Long Island Sound. From their, a nice easy ride home. |
