We took the opportunity to photograph the Sandusky FIREBOAT and headed west again. seeing some farms and sights along the way.
 

The first stop was at the two know Fireboats near the National Museum of the Great Lakes. A nice view at the city skyline on a beautiful day.

The new FIREBOAT "Marine 1" was found at a dock near downtown, on a flourishing waterfront.

We then made a brief stop at the local AAA Baseball field, home of the Toledo Mudhens, before leaving Toledo.
 

The first stop is the Detroit Fireboat Station. We have visited this before, but they have a new Fireboat 2 since our last visit.

The older Detroit Fireboat "Curtis Randolph" is still docked on the shore of the Detroit River near the Ambassador Bridge, which connects the USA with Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

The area around the Fireboat Station has been improved considerably and now hosts the second FIREBOAT for Detroit.
 

We got a hotel room within walking distance of NFL Ford Field and MLB Comerica Park in the heart of Detroit.

The Detroit Tigers were hosting the Colorado Rockies at Comerica Park. This was our first visit to Comerica Park. We bought some cheap tickets, essentially so we could walk around and experience and photograph the ball park from various perspectives. The park is spectacular in many ways, with Tigers everywhere. It was very comfortable, user friendly, with many good food and beverages options, and great views of the city. We got to meet some very nice people and enjoyed a great baseball game. Tigers Won 11-0!
