| Our Day 16 started out in Waldorf MD. We headed into Anne
Arundel County to find several Fireboats. An Anne Arundel Engine 41, was in a store parking lot. We could tell we were close to Fireboats. |

| Avalon Shores, and Shady Side, has one of the Anne Arundel Fireboats. A new boat is being built for here, and the previous boat had been out of service since it sunk during an incident. A spare boat was in place. |

| Anne Arundel Station 8 is responsible for Dive and Water Rescue incidents. It is shared with the City of Annapolis. The station operates the newer Anne Arundel Dive Boat 8 kept nearby at the USCG facility. |

| ANNAPOLIS MD |
| We drove through the Capital City of Maryland, Annapolis. We went through 6 State Capitals so far. Albany NY, St Paul MN, Des Moines IA, Jefferson City MO, Charleston WV, and Annapolis MD so far.

| We stopped at the Sandy Point State Park, on the western end of
the Chesapeake Bay Bridge near Annapolis.
The older "Lady Anne" Fireboat 19 is still docked here. The new Anne Arundel FIREBOAT 19 was recently delivered. A twin vessel is still under construction and is expected to be assigned at Shady Side.

| We went over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to the DelMarVa and then
across southern New Jersey to the Jersey shore. First stop, Ocean City NJ and finding their Boats.

| LONGPORT NJ |
| Next up, Longport NJ. A volunteer department with a Safeboat
FIREBOAT. After Longport, we attempted to find a couple other boats, but were running out of day light. We landed at a hotel in Lakewood for Night 16.
