| ST PAUL MN |
| We started Day 9 in St Paul after a nice 2 day visit. We stopped
by a Fire Station or two and then drove into Minneapolis for the
same. |
| MINNEAPOLIS MN |
| A few Fire Stations in Minneapolis. Engine 11 and Ladder 9, are also the Haz Mat Team.. |
| MINNEAPOLIS MN |
| Station 1 is downtown, not far from the stadiums.

| RED WING MN |
| A little south and east of the Minneapolis / St Paul area is a
community called Red Wing. We found their FIREBOAT. Red Wing is on the Mississippi River. The boat houses are built to ride tall poles up and down depending on the level of the river at any given time. |

| SOUTHERN MN |
| Our drive south took us through some more beautiful areas and
lots of farmlands. |
| CLEAR LAKE IA |
| We stopped in Clear Lake, Iowa. The volunteer fire department
had a nice little museum. |

| Clear Lake also has a FIREBOAT down on the lake. |

| DES MOINES IA |
| This was our first time in Des Moines. We found the State
Capital and got a hotel. We then walked to find some dinner. We settled in for Night 9 in Iowa. It looked like a full moon.
