| Day 1 of our September 2024 Road Trip started out at Home on
Cape Cod.
We got an early start on a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Our first stop was in ALBANY NY. This was the First of our anticipated CAPITAL Cities on this trip. Albany has a FIREBOAT that we have tried to photograph several
times previously. |
| OSWEGO NY |
| From Albany, we headed up to the City of Oswego, on the shore of
Lake Ontario. Oswego is another city we had previously visited, hoping to photograph their Fireboat, which was out of service that time. A pretty strong breeze and some large waves were breaking over the breakwater and lighthouse at the opening of the channel. We successfully found and photographed the Oswego FIREBOAT. We then continued on west, ending our Day 1 in Rochester NY for the
night. |
