It was built in 1910 and had horses at the time.

JACKSON, MS
The capital of Mississippi is the City of Jackson.

GRENADA, MS
A stop between Jackson and Memphis to stay South of tornado warnings.
Found some good food and a safe place to stay.
The result of the previous day's storms was a lot of flooding.
MEMPHIS, TN
The sun came back out. A little chilly, but a beautiful day to see some stations
in Memphis.
Memphis has a new fireboat as well, although I was unable to find it this trip.
You can't help but wonder.
It didn't start out as a Bass Pro Shops mega-store, but that's how it ended up.
MEMPHIS
I-40 comes across the Mississippi River via this bridge.
MEMPHIS FIRE STATION 4
The weather was perfect and Memphis turned out to be a great city to get around.
Let's find some fire stations.

MEMPHIS
An early start on the day as the city was waking up.
JACKSON, TN
I made a stop at the Jackson, TN Fire Station arriving just in time for the
morning truck checks.
A Snorkel was parked by the drill tower.
Jackson recently took delivery of some new apparatus.
Going red from white.
NASHVILLE, TN
That storm front had dumped a lot of rain in the Nashville area as well.
The Nissan Stadium, on the banks of the flooding Cumberland River.
Music City
Spring is in the air in Tennessee.
NASHVILLE, TN
The stop in Nashville was partly to check out their fireboats.
Not to be found. Probably because the river was so high.
Home of the Tennessee Titans
NASHVILLE STATION 3
HENDERSONVILLE, TN
Stopped by a Hendersonville station to learn where their Fireboat is kept.
HENDERSONVILLE FIREBOAT

Local flooding from rains made it a challenge to get any closeup photos.
LOUISVILLE SLUGGER
One of the iconic images of Louisville, KY

I stumbled upon a really awesome Fire Museum located in Jeffersonville, IN.
The Museum was actually just moved across the street from its previous facility.
I got a wonderful tour and took lots of photos.
See those on the next page dedicated to that visit.
HARRODS CREEK, KY
Back on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River slightly East of the Louisville area
