DAY 14 - JULY 18
      We crossed into the Mountain Time Zone at the Kansas / Colorado border yesterday. This morning we got our first look at the Rocky Mountains from the eastern plains. We made our way into Denver for our first visit to that city.  We sought out some sights including the capital building, the Mile High stadium, the Colorado Rockies ball park, and of course some Denver FD stations and apparatus.

     Once again we looked at the map for a place to land for the night. We learned that Frontier Days were in progress in Cheyenne, Wyoming which was not actually too far away from Denver, so off we went into Wyoming's state capital.

      We ended Week 2 in Cheyenne, WY 3,742 miles into the trip with 13 new states added so far.
