The Maui County Fire Department protects 4 major islands.
The largest island, Maui, is 727 square miles with a population of over 100,000
has 10 fire stations.
The island of Moloka'i, 260 square miles, has 3 fire stations.
The island of Lana'i. 140 square miles, has 1 fire station.
The is no station on the fourth island, Kaho'olawe.
