PALM BEACH COUNTY FIRE STATIONS
Palm Beach County is approximately 1,772 square miles in area with a population of
approximately 1.2 Million. The county is protected by approximately 49 County fire stations
and approximately 29 other fire stations of 13 independent municipalities within the county.
The county communications center dispatches around 200,000 calls a year. The radio dispatch
is a computer generated, electronic voice and is interesting to listen to live.

I had been to many of the stations in previous visits, but made it a goal to try to
visit all the stations in the county and create reference web pages on the stations.
Visiting so many stations in a large area like Palm Beach County takes time, but
is a great way to see and learn the area going "dot to dot" to various stations.

The random nature of driving around the county on various days and coming
across stations, in no particular order, is pretty much how its done.
