STRATFORD, CT
MARINE 233 - "Allen D. Judson"
The 2015 33' Safeboat is equipped with three Mercury 300 HP outboards
and a fire pump capable of 1000 gpm from a remote controlled deckgun.
The CBRNE vessel is rated at approx 50 knots.
The boat is docked at the Brewer Marina on the Housatonic River south of I-95
and is responsible for approximately 20 miles of shoreline on Long Island Sound.
Allen D. Judson was the first full-time Fire Chief in Stratford serving from
1910-1951
