OLD SAYBROOK FIRE BOAT

OLD SAYBROOK, CT
MARINE 3-2 - "Gordon B. Smith"
Located in the shadow of the I-95 bridge over the lower end of the Connecticut River
at the Oak Leaf Marina is the Old Saybrook Fire Department's 2010 35 foot
Moose Boat equipped with twin 300 HP Mercury outboards and a fire pump
capable of more than 1000 gpm.
Moose boats are built in Petaluma, CA and shipped via truck cross country.
Gordon B Smith was the first fire chief serving from 1924 to 1929.
