GREENWICH PD FIRE BOAT
GREENWICH, CT
MARINE 139
The Greenwich Police Department's Marine Operations Section operates
several boats.
Marine 139 was built by North River Boats in Oregon. It was delivered and
put in service
in the Spring of 2013 at the Greenwich Marine Section's dock along the east side
of
Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Greenwich Harbor.
The boat is 39' LOA, 12' beam, 1500 gpm.
Twin diesels and jet drives.
CBRNE
Greenwich includes 33 miles of coastline on Long Island Sound.
GREENWICH PD MARINE OPERATIONS SECTION

Additional Greenwich PD boats include PB #124 a 2002 34' Hike
Metal police boat
and PB #125 a 2009 North River 31' police boat.
All boats when staffed are first responder vessels with EMTs
or Medics.
The Greenwich FD would deploy firefighters to fireboat when needed.
