The powerful jet drive boat is capable of high speeds.
The new fire boat replaced the 1971 Eugene Jackson.
Jacksonville renumbered / reassigned boats several times with the latest (2015)
assignments having the "Godbold" at Station 40 as Marine 40.

The pier is located at Metropolitan Park on Gator Bowl Blvd
across the the Jacksonville Jaquar's "EverBank Field"

Jacksonville Station 40
9350 Hecksher Drive, Jacksonville
Located across from Mayport near the entrance to the St Johns River.
The station houses a couple land based units, E40, Tender 40, and a Rescue.
Behind the station on the river is a dock for several boats, including Marine 40.
The large Marine 1 (Dr. Robert F. Kiely" was originally assigned here, but was
later reassigned further up the river and the "Jake M. Godbold" was reassigned
as Marine 40 at this station.
