Astoria Fireboat
"Trident"
The mouth of the Columbia River on the Oregon / Washington coast is an opening
to a very busy shipping channel with large ships traveling to and from Portland
and cruise ships utilizing the Port at Astoria.
.
The Port of Astoria, OR operates the fireboat "Trident"
built in 2014 by Almar of North River Boats.
The Sounder model boat is 34' at waterline, 37' LOA.
It is powered by twin Yamaha 350 HP outboards.
The pumping capacity is 1500 gpm.

The blue fireboat is docked in the marina at the Port of Astoria office
off of Portway St on the Columbia River.
