The 2024 Metal Shark "Fireboat 19"
The new boat will be identical.

"Fire Boat"
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department has a second Metal
Shark Defiant NXT 50'
Fireboat on order, a twin to the recently delivered 2024 "Fireboat 19"
which replaces the "Lady Anne" at the Sandy Point State Park.
When delivered, it is believed that the new boat will be
assigned
to the Shady Side dock used by previous boats in the southern
region of Anne Arundel County.
