Romancoke is a small community located on the southern end of Kent Island, MD.
The "United Communities VFD" protects the community located in Queen Anne's
County
in the eastern shore across the Chesapeake Bay from Annapolis. The department's
fireboat is located in North Pond with easy access to Eastern Bay and the
Chesapeake.
Fireboat 9 is a FireCraft 28 foot with a 1250 gpm pump and two deckguns.
It has twin Evinrude 250 HP and a 5000 w generator.
The boat, as well as United Communities' other apparatus have a dark green
stripe.
