Chesapeake City, Maryland is a small community in Cecil County, on Route 213 where it
 crosses the western end of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.

The Chesapeake City VFD has stations on both sides of the canal.
  The fire rescue boat is docked in the Back Creek Marina just off the C&D Canal
and east of the bridge.

At the eastern end of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal is Delaware City
which also has a fire boat.
