 COLORADO
January 31, 2025 - February 18, 2025

Our Colorado 2025 Trip started out from Boston with a flight
to Denver International Airport.

About 1 hour south of Denver is Colorado Springs, which became our home
for a few weeks.

The Colorado Springs area is beautiful in many ways.
So much to see and do, including Pikes Peak, the Garden of the Gods,
the IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial, and so much more.

Part of our trip also enjoyed a special 2 night visit to New Mexico.

The visit, like most of our trips, included visits to various Fire Stations
and all the neighborhoods and scenery observed in the dot to dot travel in between.

The weather in February, was as warm as 72 degrees one day,
and 1 degree or below just days later.

We had a wonderful visit and look forward to more visits in the future.

Visit to New Mexico

Feb 3

From Buena Vista, we drove south into New Mexico.

A remote place in northern New Mexico was accessed via dirt road.

This home, essentially an Air B&B opportunity,
would be ours for two nights.

The opportunity was the result of a raffle ticket win
by Robyn's sister who lives in the area and shared the
opportunity with us.

We were hoping for a good sunset and were not disappointed.
