| DAY 34 - AUGUST 7 We had made arrangements the previous day to visit the second fireboat station in Houston. We were greeted and shown around. The crew took Fireboat 3 out into the channel and put on a water display with Fireboat 3. The display was cut short when three actual incidents came in simultaneously requiring response of their shore based apparatus. We then made our was east to New Orleans. 347 miles and lots of traffic - 8,017 miles to date. |
