DAY 30
| DAY 30 - AUGUST 3 Having reached our westernmost point at Las Vegas, we started back to the East. We now have a time table to work with and a date to be home by. We jumped on the Interstate I-40 and started pushing again to put on some big miles. We drove across Arizona, stopping to see Meteor Crater, and then continuing on into New Mexico. We ran out of daylight at Albuquerque and stopped for the night. 574 miles for the day and up to 6,504 miles for the trip to date. |
