HYANNIS OPEN HOUSE ACTIVITIES
Following the dedication of the memorial, the public was welcomed in to tour the
new station and see all the went into it. Demonstrations were put on and
refreshments
were available.
The front of the station includes a training tower that may be used
in many different ways including multi-story raising and lowering
of patients via ropes or other means.
A mezzanine area over looking the apparatus bays is set up for training with
various props.

A standpipe system is also included for training in the tower.
Retired Fire Chief Harold Brunelle and retired Executive Assistant Debe Schiavi
were very active for many years getting the fire station project off the ground.
