Landing craft style.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department added a new vessel
to its fleet. The boat is staffed by a crew at the nearby Station 8.

The boat is docked at the USCG Station Annapolis in Fishing Creek
off Thomas Point Road.

Shady Side
This vessel has been serving Anne Arundel County
at the Westport Marina & Boatyard at Shady Side.

It was placed in service after the 2010 Moose Boat M2-35
vessel "Arundel Patriot" sunk in March 2022.

A new Metal Shark Defiant XNT 50' Fireboat
is on order and is expected to be assigned to Shady Side.
The twin "Fireboat 19" was delivered to Anne Arundel in 2024.
