TOKYO 3 - Hamacho - Sumida River

Tokyo Fireboats
Hamacho - Sumida River Fire Station
TOKYO BAY AREA
Day 28 - October 2, 2023
The third Fireboat Station in Tokyo is located a little ways up the Sumida River.
There are many bridges over the river, and adjacent waterways, so both of
the boats on the river are low profile and essentially identical.
The boat crews are at the Hamacho Fire Station a short walk away.

There are (2) Fireboats assigned to the Hamacho - Sumida River station.

The "Kiyosu" can be identified by the (3) characters in the name on the stern.
The "Hamakazi" built in 2008 can be identified by (4) symbols in the name on the stern.

The first attempt to see these boats was from a Tokyo Harbor Cruise that started
up the Sumida River and proceeded to the Odaiba Landing. Both boats were away
from the dock that day.

When I arrived at the dock on Oct 2, 2023, both boats were once again away from the dock.
Soon after however, both boats started up the river, from training exercises.
They proceeded to dock and secure the boats.
