Chiba City Fireboat

The Large Chiba Fireboat is docked in the Port of Chiba
behind a large Fire Station with a good deal of specialized apparatus.
I was invited aboard the "Matsukazi" and also introduced to how some
of the Japanese apparatus and equipment function by a great group of guys here.

The Tokyo Bay area of Japan includes Chiba City.

The Chiba Fireboat is located behind this station in the Port of Chiba.

The station houses much of the specialized apparatus in the city.
The primary apparatus, including the two engines (one with water)
and an ambulance are in the building to theright.

On the far left is a second station with much of the special apparatus.

"Super Rescue Chiba"
The heavy rescue apparatus.
Equipped with a crane.

Some of the special apparatus include a toilet apparatus (left) to handle long term incidents.
A sleeper apparatus, with bunks and showers (center) for long incidents.
A powerful high capacity ventilation truck (right).

JAPAN COAST GUARD
Several Coast Guard boats with firefighting capability are docked next to the Chiba Fireboat.
