Approx 1500 gpm capacity.
The new boat replaced a 36 year old vessel, also known as "Defender"
Lake Hopatcong is the largest fresh water lake in New Jersey.
Covering about 4 square miles, it is located in northern Morris County
within Jefferson Township. It is a popular recreational lake with many
boats and homes located along the shores.
The Jefferson Township Fire Company #2 has a boat station on the lake
on Lagoon Lane off of Benedict Drive, not far from the Lakeview Marina.
The "Defender" and a Dive Team vessel known as "715" "The Guardian"
are docked at the station.
