The Onset Fire Department responded to the old Ocean Spray
Cranberry warehouse
at 3650 Cranberry Highway (Rt 6 / Rt 28) around 0230 hours finding a fire in
advanced
stages that eventually went to 5 alarms and required 2 additional regional
structural task
forces to the scene. Firefighters worked hard to contain the fire and keep it
from spreading
to other nearby structures. While the building was destroyed, there were no
injuries and
crews did an amazing job bring the fire under control.
