The 6th Annual Firefighter Chili Challenge
was held at the Hyannis Resort and Conference Center
on Sunday, March 14, 2010.
The annual event brought chili teams from 14 communities
gathering to raise money for MDA.
Teams included:
Eastham Fire - "Team Back Draft"
Hyannis Fire
Harwich Fire - "Big Johnson Chili Brigade"
Mashpee Fire - Local 2519
Blackstone Fire - "Hose Heads"
Yarmouth Fire - "Fully Involved"
Barnstable Fire - "Hawaii Five-O"
West Barnstable Fire - "Tiki Torches"
Orleans Fire - "Underdogs"
Taunton Fire - "Silver City Chili"
Mattapoisett Fire - "Mattapoisett Chili Squad"
Marshfield Fire - "Marsh Vegas Chili Dept"
Chatham Fire
Wareham Fire - "Gate Keepers"
Several local bands, with local firefighter talent
provided entertainment.
About 1,000 people attended the four hour event.
