7th Annual
FIREFIGHTERS CHILI CHALLENGE

About 20 teams from the Cape and as far away as Shrewsbury and Blackstone Fire Departments
participated in a "heated" battle for a great cause, raising money for the Firefighters choice charity
the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Hundreds of people turned out for what is described as the
largest challenge in the 7 year history of the event.
Great varieties of chili. Great music by several special bands. Great gathering of friends.
A great time was had by all.

Andy "Operator K" from Hyannis won the door prize and in the "Klass Act" of the day donated the
considerable 50/50 door prize right back to the MDA cause!

COMM FD the "Taj Mahal Gang" won 1st Place for Hotetst Cjili!
Congrats on their victory in their first year in the competition.

Hyannis FD 3rd Place for People's Choice award.

Barnstable FD 2nd Place for People's Choice award.

Eastham FD 1st Place for People's Choice award.

Hyannis FD 3rd Place for Chef's Cup award.

Blackstone FD 2nd Place for Chef's Cup award.
