ONSET STRUCTURE FIRE
The Onset Fire Department responded to a reported structure
fire at 85 Fearing Street around 14:30 hrs on Monday, April 29, 2024.
On arrival, Breaker 149 (on driver training) reported a working fire
in a 1-1/2 story wooden dwelling. The neighborhood is very congested
and exposures were threatened. A 2nd Alarm was quickly struck, and soon
after a 3rd Alarm bringing resources from Plymouth County and Barnstable
County.
Departments and apparatus responded from Onset,
Wareham, Wareham EMS,
Bourne, Plymouth, Marion, Carver, Middleborough, Falmouth, the DFS,
Providence Canteen, Mattapoisett, and Sandwich.
