Age 68

Nancy Moyer joined the Orleans Fire Department as an EMT many years ago.
From there she joined the Brewster Fire Department.
In 1985 she became a certified Paramedic,
mentored and encouraged by her friend and CIEMSS Class 1 alum,
Brewster Firefighter/Paramedic Margot Fitch
who was the first female firefighter/Paramedic in Massachusetts.

Her fulltime career as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Dennis Fire Department
began on July 1, 1986, when Nancy became the first female Firefighter/Paramedic
in the Dennis Fire Department leading the way and setting the example for
many who would follow in years to come.

She went on to serve a long and meaningful career over 34 + years
until she retired in 2022.

Along the way, she married Yarmouth FF/Paramedic Paul Robertson
and started a family, having a son Conor and daughter Molly.
Nancy was very involved in her community as well as the fire and EMS
service on Cape Cod.

Her battle with occupational cancer was courageous.
She passed away on April 3, 2024.

A large turnout of family, friends, and co-workers turned out to pay respects
and celebrate her life on Saturday April 27, 2024.
Services were held at Hallett's Funeral Home and St David's Episcopal Church,
both in South Yarmouth.

It was wonderful knowing and working with you over the many years.
