BREWSTER STRUCTURE FIRE
The Brewster Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire
at the Old Sea Pines Inn, at 2553 Main Street, at approximately 18:25 hrs
on Monday May 20, 2024.

On arrival, Squad 241 reported smoke and flames from the roof of a rear
section of the large, wooden complex. The first alarm brought automatic
aid from neighboring Harwich, Dennis, and Orleans to assist Brewster.

A working Fire assignment followed bringing additional assistance from
Eastham and Chatham to the scene, and coverage of various stations
affected by the incident.

The fire was contained and brought under control within about an hour
saving the historic structure from greater damage.
