| DAY 35 - AUGUST 8 We spent the night in New Orleans and added Louisiana to the map. We rented a car since driving the camper in the city would be unwise. Then it was meeting up with Nick for brunch and touring the Big Easy. We found the New Orleans fireboat and then got into the middle of the Red Dress Run fundraiser in the French Quarters by accident, but it was interesting to see everyone in red. Found a few stations and got back to the campground. Finally, it was off to the ball park to see the Zephyrs play at home. |
