CHARLESTON FIRE BOAT

 

"Marine 101"
"Louis Behrens"

The Charleston, SC Fire Department operates Marine 101, the "Louis Behrens"
named after Charleston's longest serving member (some 58 years) and longest serving fire chief.
The boat is normally staffed by the crew of Engine 102.

The Georgetown, SC Fire Department operates a boat equipped to fight fire.

HORRY COUNTY FIRE BOAT

"Fire Boat 2"

Horry County, SC Fireboat 2 is located at the Cricket Cove Marina on the Little River Inlet
in Horry County near the South Carolina / North Carolina border.  Horry County Fire Station 2
is located just a few hundred yards up Baker Street and staffs the boat as needed.

Silver Ships is located in Mobile, Alabama.
This boat was one of two originally built for Orange Beach, AL
Fire Department located between Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL.
Horry County bought it in 2009.

MIDWAY-PAWLEY'S ISLAND FIRE BOAT

"River 1"

The Midway Fire Rescue Department is located on Pawleys Island, South Carolina,
between Georgetown and Myrtle Beach.  The department operates from 3 stations
and has several boats and watercraft.

NORTH CHARLESTON FIRE BOAT

"Marine 201"

The City of North Charleston, SC Fire Department operates "Marine 201."

at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, SC across the harbor from Charleston.

ST JOHN'S FIRE BOAT

"Marine 701"

The St. John's Fire District protects approximately 185 square miles of area located
just south of Charleston, SC.  Several islands, including John's Island, Kiawah Island,
Seabrook Island, and Wadmalaw Island are within the area protected by 7 stations.

SULLIVAN'S ISLAND FIRE BOAT

"Marine 1201"

The Sullivan's Island Fire Department operates several boats including "Marine 1201."

The boat is located behind the fire station at 2050 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, SC.
A fire department boat dock is to be located at Osceola Ave & Station 9 Street
