TOLEDO FIRE BOATS

Toledo Fire Department
"Marine 1"

The City of Toledo, OH is located where the Maumee River meets the Western end of
Lake Erie in Northwestern Ohio.

The Fire Department protects about 84 square miles and a population around 287,000
from about 18 Fire Stations.

The Fire Department has (2) boats in the water at the Front Street Marina
near the National Museum of the Great Lakes and the Veterans Glass City Skyway Bridge.
Marine 1 is a fireboat while the other boat is for water rescue.

Update October 2024
The former "Marine 1" was most recently photographed simply as "Marine"
while a newer vessel at another dock is designated "Marine 1"
