"4-MARINE"
The Haverstraw Fire Department is located in Rockland County on the west
side of the
Hudson River. Five volunteer fire companies protect and area of
approximately 27 sq miles.
The department operates a fire rescue boat from a small marina off West Street
near the Elks.
The 1999 Cobra aluminum boat is 23' long, powered by 1 outboard.
It hs a bow mounted deckgun and is capable of about 500 gpm.
