CHARLOTTE COUNTY FIRE BOATS

Charlotte County - Gasparilla
"Marine 1"

The Charlotte County, FL "Marine 1" is a 2018 MetalCraft FireStorm 30
34' 5" LOA - 10' 5" Beam
Equipped with inboard jet drives and capable of approximately 1000 gpm.

The boat is kept in Gasparilla Marina, Placida, FL on the West Coast
off Gasparilla Road.

The former "Marine 1" was retired.
The former "Marine 2" that had been assigned to Gasparilla has been
relocated to the Laishley Marina in Punta Gorda.

"Marine 1"

The new Charlotte County, FL "Marine 1" is a 2018 MetalCraft 32' vessel
equipped with inboard jet drives and capable of approximately 1000 gpm.
When in service, the boat may be assigned to Casparilla Marina.

Charlotte County - Punta Gorda
"Marine 1"

The Charlotte County, FL Fire Department operates "Marine 1" in Punta Gorda.
Marine 1 is a McKee Craft boat, approximately 27' in length with twin 300 HP
Yamaha outboards. The boat is also equipped with a fire pump, approx 500 gpm.
The boat is docked at the Laishley Park Municipal Marina at the foot of Nesbit Street.

Marine 1 is staffed by the "Marine Operations" crew of Engine 6
at Station 6, 27287 Disston Ave., Punta Gorda.

OUT OF SERVICE
2019

NEW MARINE 1

A 2018 MetalCraft 32' jet driven boat has been delivered
and will be designated "Marine 1."
When in service this boat may be assigned to the Gasparilla Marina
in Placida off Gasparilla Road.

MARINE 2

Another vessel, designated "Marine 2" is also operated by Charlotte County.
That boat is a 27' Boston Whaler Vigilant that is currently docked within the
Gasparilla Marina.

"Marine 2"

Charlotte County's Marine 2 is a 27' Boston Whaler with twin Yamaha 300 HP
and a 500 gpm pump.
The boat was docked at the Gasparilla Marina off Gasparilla Road in Placida.

When the new Marine 1 was assigned to Gasparilla,
Marine 2 ws reassigned to Punta Gorda replacing the older boat.
