Note: When the "McKean" Marine 1 went down for about 7 months in the mid
1970s
the "Firefighter" Marine 9 was temporarily assigned to Marine 1 at Pier A.
The "Wilks" Marine 7 was relocated to Marine 9
until the "McKean"
came back in service and the "Firefighter" returned to
Marine 9.
This may be one of the few known photos showing the "Wilks"
with the Marine 9 on the stack. She was sold soon after and left the
fire service ultimately becoming a tug boat.
