The morning class was taught by Chief John Farrington (COMM FD) and Chief Dennis Newman
(Ret Sandwich FD) at the Otis Fire Station. The afternoon session commanded by DCR District 1
Fire Warden Josh Nigro provided drivers and crews with vehicle operation experience in the
woods and access roads of the base. Breakers included Sandwich B461 & B463, State B5 & B6,
Otis B409, Cotuit B267, West Barnstable B295, and Brewster B235. COMM B316 broke down
on the way to the drill and was out of service.
