COMM FD Lieutenant John Tavares started as a call firefighter in Osterville.
He was hired as a fulltime dispatcher, became a Firefighter Paramedic, and went on
to become a Senior Private and Lieutenant. John's service over 35 years included
several rescues of people from fires as well as other distinctions.
Congrats JT. Enjoy retirement.
