An early plan put the new fire station up near the DPW
off High Point Lane. That plan eventually changed to the
Spring Street location.

TISBURY SUB STATION
TISBURY SUB STATION
When the department bought their new Tower Ladder truck, they had to
have a place
to park it (the Beach Street Station was not capable), so a temporary barn
was built at the
DPW facility at 115 Highpoint Lane in 2005. It served until the new station
opened
in 2012.

When Tisbury had a second ambulance, that would not fit in the Police
Station,
it was kept in a barn on Spring Street.
