MISSOULA

The following morning we continued our way south through Delaware.
Farmington Volunteer Fire Company in central Delaware.

 Greenwood Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1, Delaware.

LITTLE CREEK, DE

We spent the night in the Dover area and started out the next day along the Delaware shore in
 a pretty thick fog. We traveled along the shore again finding several stations and boats on our
way north.  The weather stayed overcast and it rained a few times but we still accomplished
several goals along the way.

 

LEIPSIC, DE

PORT PENN, DE

Port Penn FD is a small department that operates several pieces of apparatus and a boat.

 

DELAWARE CITY, DE

The community of Delaware City is located on the eastern end of the Chesapeake and Delaware
Canal which shortens the trip from the Philadelphia area to the Baltimore area.
Delaware City operates a new fire boat which replaced their previous boat that
sunk in an accident during a response.

 

HOLLOWAY TERRACE, DELAWARE

The northern industrial areas around Wilmington are protected by a number of departments.
Located on the western side of the I-295 Delaware Memorial Bridges are the Holloway Terrace
and New Castle fire departments. The Holloway Terrace VFD operates fire, EMS, and marine
apparatus as well as some regional equipment.
