The Oldest Fire Department on Cape Cod happens to currently have the most
modern,
unique, and custom fleet of apparatus at this time. All five of its major pieces
of
apparatus are custom built by Ferrara of Louisiana, the most recent of which,
Ladder 192 just recently went into service. All others have been added within
the
past 10 years. Each has been designed to provide the maximum effectiveness while
remaining compact enough to manage the narrow streets and congestion of
Provincetown.
P-Town personnel train on Sunday mornings and were kind enough
to show off their fine apparatus recently for a few pictures before drill.
