BRUSH FIRE MASHPEE
Between Sunset Strip and Park Place Way

Mashpee FD responded to a brush fire, due to a permit that got away, between
Sunset Strip and Park Place Way off Route 130. The fire burned about 1 acre
and required some assistance from the Cotuit FD with a brush breaker. The
fire threatened a shed and some other structures but was extinguished before
any major damage occurred.
