A crowd of more than a hundred participated in the 7th Annual Barnstable
New Years Day Splash at Millway Beach.
A cold rain soaked everyone as dozens of men, women, and children braved the
38 degree water and 40 degree air temperatures.
The 'mild' weather drew a larger group than some years.
A number of fire service people joined others in the big splash
welcoming the new year.
