Friends, family, and  fire department personnel from across Cape Cod
paid respects to retired Hyannis Fire Chief Richard R Farrenkopf who
passed away on January 3, 2011.
Chief Farrenkopf was a member of the Hyannis FD for over 35 years
and served as Captain, Deputy, and Fire Chief retiring in 1990 after
10 years as chief.
Four of his sons currently serve as Captains on the Hyannis,
Dennis and Harwich Fire Departments.
