COMM WORKING FIRE
Off Route 28 / Acadia Drive, Marstons Mills

It was pretty obvious that it was a
working fire looking across the Mill Pond
at Route 149 and Route 28 in Marstons Mills, Sunday evening, January 12, 2014.
Getting to the fire was a different story. Apparatus had to get down about a
1000 foot narrow dirt ancient way to reach the 1 story 20 x 30 vacant cottage.
Heavy fire was coming from the building on arrival. Once water was applied
the fire was brought under control quickly and the structure remained intact
when the fire was extinguished by COMM FD.
Swans came out to see what was going on.
