Cape Cod Airport, Marstons Mills
Saturday December 27, 2014 Approx 1600 hrs
The COMM FD responded to a vehicle incident and determined
that one of the
occupants required Medflight. The landing zone was established up the street at
the Cape Cod Airport in Marstons Mills. The patient was flown to a trauma center
for evaluation and care.
A side note to the incident is the pending retirement of
Lieutenant John Tavares
after some 35 years on the COMM FD. Some additional photos were taken of John
and crew members as this incident will be one of his last on the department.
