Over the past year or so that Chief Michael Winn and Deputy Byron Eldridge have led the department, a number of members have retired or been promoted. This has led to the addition of several new members and the promotion of two Captains, two Lieutenants, and an EMS Officer. These members were "officially" sworn in and recognized at the event attended by the majority of the department members, families, and guests.

    In addition, members who have achieved various longevity marks were recognized for their years of dedication and service to the District.

     The event also presented an opportunity to do a nearly full department photograph, and group photos, as well as photos of the event.

     As a long time member of the COMM FD (Retired) it is wonderful to see many of the members I worked with over the years moving up and achieving success in their careers. Congratulations to all those who were recognized for various achievements!  Be safe out there!
