Hyannis Fire Department responded to a house fire on LaFrance
Ave at approx 16:30 on Saturday November 2, 2024.
On arrival, heavy smoke and fire engulfed the attached garage
on a 1 story ranch style structure. The building was partially occupied
and residents were evacuated as the fire was attacked and contained.
A Working Fire Assignment brought assistance from COMM,
Barnstable, and West Barnstable to the scene
and others for coverage.
The fire was controlled and crews conducted overhaul
for a couple hours.
